One of the most vital issues of today concerns information and its management. The main field of study of the Geographic Information System (GIS) is the collection, archiving, processing, analysis, reporting and presentation of spatial data. GIS especially helps monitor phenomena occurring in nature, bring together data in different sources within a system, analyze the interrelationships of the data and plan the future in terms of its results. Also, observation of temporal changes in spatial data is one of the most current research topics. To this end, we plan to bring together researchers, practitioners and those interested in GIS at the “EURASIAN GIS 2018” which we will organize in Baku in 2018.
The congress aims to help exchange scientific information, share practical experiences, develop visionary approaches for studies to be conducted in the future, and implement scientific and cultural interactions. There will be scientific presentations, technical sessions, exhibitions, and natural and cultural trips within the scope of the congress. We feel really excited to meet with you in Baku/Azerbaijan by the side of the Caspian Sea with all of its history, nature and unique beauty.
