A contract was signed with Caspian Geomatics for the purpose of Sonar-bathymetry survey in the Caspian Sea. According to the contract, bottom relief research and Sonar surveys will be carried out in the contract areas in the Caspian Sea. The purpose of bathymetric and sonar surveys is to study the bottom relief, to detect coastal embankments and rocky areas, dangerous areas and solid wastes, as well as to determine the geometric properties of objects with sonar contact. The issues facing the research to be carried out by CASPIAN GEOMATICS LLC are the preparation of the inventory map, creation of the bathymetric model and map, and the acquisition of high-resolution acoustic images.
Currently, the weather conditions are being considered for the start of the works, as well as the HSE action plan and the Emergency plan are being prepared. At the same time, planning for Sonar-bathymetry exploration is underway. It should be noted that during the preliminary work, the area is analyzed on the basis of aerospace images.
