Azerbaijan Railways & CASPIAN GEOMATICS LLC signed an agreement on the purchase of GIS training services. Within the framework of  cooperation, a training in the field of geographic information systems (GIS) was organized for a group of specialists of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC. GIS training covered the dates 05.01.2024-29.02.2024. GIS training served to establish the geographic information system of Azerbaijan Railways. Specialists of Azerbaijan Railways were taught various topics of GIS:

• spatial analysis, data collection & systematic analysis
• compilation of the cartographic basis, modeling
• GIS infrastructure and classification of incidents
• field data collection
• principles of working with field data & different sources
• raster-vector, transformation & conversion.
