A framework agreement dated 18 July 2024 was signed between SOCAR Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery and CASPIAN GEOMATICS LLC on geotechnical investigation and soil laboratory services. Preparations for the start of work are currently underway.
Before that, CASPIAN GEOMATICS LLC carried out geodetic surveys for the purpose of determining the topographical indicators of the railways in the balance of the Oil Refinery named after Heydar Aliyev. According to the technical assignment, the topographic surveys of the length of the railways were determined, and the places of slopes and subsidence were determined. At the same time, curvature measurements and radius indicators were determined. The results were analyzed in comparison with the indicators in the existing schemes, geodetic processing works were carried out and profiles were built, as well as the passports of railways were updated. Based on the results obtained at the end of the works, a geoinformation system of the railways was established, and CAD plans were drawn up. Finally, a report on the determination of the geodetic dimensions of the railways was prepared and the technical passports were updated.
