Engineering-geological surveys were conducted for design of the reservoir (160 x 80 m), the scope of drilling was 168 m.
Bilateral contract have been signed for the purpose of geological investigation with regard to designing of water reservoir located at Khazar district. From geomorphological aspect the area is terraced smooth plain in the east of Eastern Absheron synclinorium. Implemented engineering-geological investigation work was mainly consisted inspection of the future construction site and areas having the same border line with it from engineering-geological and hydrogeological condition point of view, drilling of prospecting holes, sampling and soil laboratory investigations.
