The Company signed a contract to conduct bathymetry & topography surveys for the “Aypara” project, located in the Sea Breeze area of Nardaran settlement. The company utilized a hydrographic echo sounder to perform bathymetric surveys in the sea basin and conducted topographic surveys of the coastal areas. This resulted in the creation of a bathymetric model of the seabed and preparation of profiles for the bottom relief.
Firstly, the HSE specialist prepared an action plan and carried out risk assessments to conduct bathymetric surveys, identifying and recording potential risk factors. Secondly, necessary measures were then taken to minimize these risks. Finally, the bathymetry surveys were carried out according to the execution schedule, considering meteorological factors and using a hydrographic echo sounder, in conclusion, the technical report was prepared.
Issues raised and resolved on the basis of the technical task:
firstly, conducting engineering geodetic surveys;
installation of benchmarks;
carrying out topographical surveys in coastal areas;
secondly, conducting bathymetry survey with a hydrographic echo sounder;
bathymetry mapping and modeling;
creation of a bathymetric model of the seabed (3D);
preparation of profiles based on bottom relief model;
creation of the geographic information system of the investigation area.
