Wireline drilling – 1220 meters, Seismic -1.0 km, SPT, Pressuremeter test, Inclinometer test – 120 meters.
A contract was signed with CASPIAN GEOMATICS for the provision of geotechnical survey services for the construction of new residential complexes in a modern style in the city center. The team conducted wire-line logging and performed an inclinometer test in accordance with the mountainous-rocky geological structure of the area.
Above all, we conducted complex geological and geophysical surveys in the area. Firstly, we performed topographic surveys as part of our engineering assessments, conducted seismic studies, and carried out SPT and pressuremeter tests. Using the wireline drilling method, we drilled core samples to a total depth of 1220 meters. Secondly, we ensured that samples were taken without structural damage. We executed multi-channel analysis of surface waves (MASW) along profiles totaling 1 km in length. Our team carried out seismic exploration in the area. We drilled inclinometer wells with a volume of 120 m. Periodically, we performed observations. Additionally, we developed as-built schemes and studied exogenous geological processes.
As a result, a team submitted a report consisting of 3 parts on the conducted studies. They prepared an HSE action plan and an Emergency Plan for the purpose of conducting the studies. Above all, before starting work, they carried out risk assessment activities. They reduced the level of probable risks to a minimum and completed the engineering studies logically.
