Drone (UAV) services (drone surveys) are a modern demand for topographic mapping as an aerial surveying method. Initially, the team plans a flight for topographic surveys (prospecting). After that, they execute the flight exactly. Then, they install photogrammetric reference points for geodetic provision. Next, they measure coordinates and elevations. As a result, they equip a camera for aerial surveying with drones. In conclusion, they process the aerial photos, create a model, and regulate it. As a result, they obtain high-resolution images.

The main goal here is to determine the shapes, sizes, and positions of objects based on images for plan and map preparation. Photogrammetry transforms surface, aerial, and satellite images into projections, obtaining geometric and semantic information.

Photogrammetry provides wide opportunities for map, orthophoto map and digital elevation model (DEM), cadastre, architecture, topographic surveys. Its capabilities in areas of application and such as 3D modeling are constantly developing.

First and foremost, let’s briefly discuss the methodology. Initially, we investigate the project area using aerospace images. Secondly, we conduct topographical surveys in the area. Then, we obtain satellite or drone images of the area. Finally, we carry out drone surveys in the area. As a result, we prepare a high-resolution orthophoto map.
